A-level course in Critical Thinking develops and assesses the intellectual skills needed for success in other subjects. It is an increasingly popular qualification, valued by employers and university Admissions Tutors as evidence of the thinking skills they are looking for.

The AS units help students to analyse the structure of arguments and to recognise some of the flaws which speakers and writers use. The A2 units take these skills further and also introduce the skills of ethical decision-making. This CD-ROM contains PowerPoint presentations and student notes covering the whole AS and A2 syllabus (OCR specification). They are equally valuable to support teaching and for revision. They draw on the author’s extensive experience as a teacher and senior examiner in A-level Critical Thinking.
