This resource can be used for any students working at NC 1, 2 and 3. The sheets would be helpful to any teacher of children with Special Educational Needs, whether as a designated SEN class or where there is a small number of such students in a larger class group. It is, however, specifically designed to create an evidence portfolio for AQA Entry Level Mathematics (Specification B). To this end, each page is clearly marked with the Attainment Target and Strand covered.
ELC Specification B requires students to show evidence of working at one of three levels in four major skill domains; each skill domain being subdivided into Strands. Attainment Target 1 is not specifically addressed as most centres cover this domain (Using and Applying Mathematics) by way of a project or investigation.
Because of the nature of the students likely to be using this resource, care has been taken to ensure that the print is large and the pages are not too crowded.
