AS & A2 Anatomy and Physiology: An Animated Approach - CD-ROM

This resource has been developed to help bring the science of AS & A2 anatomy and physiology to life. The resource contains over 65 animated PowerPoint presentations covering all the major topics. The colourful, innovative presentations are great for visual learners and bring another dimension to anatomy and physiology teaching. The animations cover topics ranging from heart structure and circulation to energy systems and principles of training. This means that the resource is equally useful for aspects of the GCSE and BTEC syllabuses. Each presentation is accompanied by a written commentary and question paper to further the learning. Topic specific worksheets have been included to further challenge the pupils and allow teachers to monitor attainment and progress.

Easy to follow instructions allow the user to pause, rewind and fast forward the animations allowing them to be delivered at a desirable pace. The use of an onscreen pen and marking tool provides an interactive experience and encourages student involvement.
