A range of photocopiable art, craft and design activities, for use by teachers as an 'ideas bank' and as easy-to-follow assignments for pupils. The activities are challenging and creative incorporating skills in art, craft and design.

These activities provide opportunities for pupils to:

• Experience different materials, tools and techniques, and use them experimentally and creatively
• Explore and experiment with pattern and texture in design
• Make 3-D models using various materials
• Explore the making of images through a variety of techniques.

Practice is given in manual skills and processes by:

• Selection of appropriate equipment and materials
• Building confidence in the use of equipment and materials
• Dexterity with art materials, including crayon, paper, card, adhesives and scissors
• Developing a range of technique and skills

Each photocopiable activity is self-contained and presented with clear, easy-to-follow instructions and a list of materials.
