Then, to keep the animal theme going, try designing fantastic fish, which can be collaged into group or class pictures. Make simple but effective 3D creatures out of cardboard tubes and scrap materials. Perhaps those fantastic fish you've just designed.
Tasks are open-ended for use as homework, cover work or as starting points for projects. Most are straightforward enough for the non-specialist. Teacher's notes suggest suitable materials to use and ways to extend a task into a major project.
