Baroque harmony is an important part of all courses, and this series of exercises covers the two important areas of Bach Chorales and figured bass. The Bach Chorales exercises cover the composition, harmonisation and completion of a chorale, based on the Riemenschneider collection. The figured bass exercises cover writing and completion of a melody above a figured base in the 18th century style and are based on Handel's flute/recorder sonatas.
