These support materials provided AS students with valuable practice and give the necessary words and phrases they need to express their ideas and opinions as well as giving the busy teacher ways in which to exploit the pre-release booklet. Each worksheet comes with a list of vocabulary and a set of exercises designed to help practice the reading and writing skills examined in Module 1 of the AQA exam. Notes in French are also included to help students prepare for the 150 and 250 word essay questions of the AQA module 2. The essay titles chosen by the board will be related to the topics of:

As contained in the texts of the pre-release booklet issued this year to each candidate sitting AS French in 2001 and 2002. The student may also be tested on these same topics in unit 3 - the oral examination.
