This material gives practice in various skills, which dyslexics find problematical.
Most Statements of Educational Need will specify that there should be help in such areas as developing strategies for chunking and recognition of syllables, as well as consolidating blends, digraphs and vowel recognition.
These pupils will also be identified as requiring activities to develop sequential memory, organisation skills and learning strategies. Pressure of curriculum-based work often makes inclusion of these skills a difficulty. These activities however, can be undertaken at home (either independently or with parental support) or at school.
These materials access the curriculum and the statementing requirements for KS2, KS3 and through to KS4 and are easily adaptable for all ages, offering a ‘fun’ learning programme with recognisable goals and achievement of targets.
