This material has been developed to help students in year 11 revise for the Religion and Society (Unit H) Edexcel GCSE course. The material focuses on the religions of Christianity and Islam and the optional topic of medical issues. It aims to provide a varied approach to revision that can be used in either lessons or revision sessions with mixed ability groups.

The resources cover five topic areas and include games, practice exam questions, peer marking, exemplar marking, note taking or recall tasks and oral and discussion tasks. These have been designed to be used prior to the examinations however, they could be used as revision tasks at any point during the course. A variety of learning styles and pupil abilities have been considered in the tasks and layout of the material whilst keeping exam success as the foremost goal.

Each topic has a page of instructions for the activities in that section and a set of photocopiable activity sheets. The information is based principally on that found in the core textbook, Religion and Society, and that is the only additional resource required to complete or check answers to some of the activities. Some of the resources are designed to be cut out as activity cards after copying.
