Written for children between the ages of nine and fourteen years old, the pack includes 'hands-on' projects using drawing, painting, collage, clay and graphic design as well as leaving scope for the use of computers.

Most of the projects use an artist or art movement as a starting point for learning, which is an integral part of many art syllabuses. Projects draw on art from all over the world, including Japanese, Aboriginal and African art as well as European movements such as the Renaissance and Cubism.

At the beginning of the booklet, there is a comprehensive chart showing which age range each project suits, the likely duration of each topic and all the materials needed.
