European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Modules 1-7 (V4)

The ECDL is a Europe wide standard in the basics of computing in a working business environment, it aims to meet the needs of the employer, by providing a measurable standard of competence across the most commonly used applications.

These manuals address the syllabus of each module independently and in specific detail, giving the learner the opportunity to access the applications and to see for themselves how the options are accessed, and to work through exercises and examples to gain the required skills in each area to attain the required level of competence in all areas of the ECDL syllabus.

Each modular training manual covers the required syllabus in full and contains all of the instruction that the learner needs to pass the relevant modular examination.

The resources can be used independently or with the support of a tutor/teacher. The manuals are each independent of one another and therefore provide maximum flexibility, the learner may choose which subject areas to tackle first or the tutor can decide the order of delivery. Unlike the most common training materials available for this qualification, this material enables interaction between the learner and the live applications, and the learner can practice as little or as much as necessary in order to achieve competence.

These resources are designed for anybody wishing to pass the ECDL suite of examinations are as suited to the experienced learner as to the absolute beginner. Those learners with existing skills can simply by-pass the training for those areas that they are already fully competent in, and focus on those areas that they have not previously covered and that are new to them.
