Evidence Generating Assignments is a photocopiable resource pack based on the new standards for Using IT at level 1 which will help candidates to understand and generate evidence of the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification. The pack contains 11 Resource sets. Each containing 'things to think about' guidance, photocopiable assignment sheets based upon performance criteria relating to the element, and an element checklist.

Simple diagrams (or rich pictures) showing hypothetical work situations are used extensively throughout the resource. As well as adding interest, these act as a powerful tool for illustrating typical human situations which arise in a work environment.

Evidence Generating Assignments helps students to produce evidence of underpinning knowledge, as well as enabling candidates to identify aspects of their workplace and working environment from which additional real work evidence can be gathered.
