This set of labels has been created to help assess the key elements of National Curriculum History. The set covers levels 2 to 8 of attainment in the five key elements and is an original and useful device for busy Teachers.

Instead of writing a long comment on each pupil's piece of assessed work, teachers can simply peel off the label for the Appropriate level. Each label emphasises pupil achievement and instructs them on what they need to do to advance to the next level. The language used will be accessible to the great majority of children and the labels will help teachers and pupils (particularly non-specialists) become more familiar with National Curriculum History.
