Here is a resource with a difference. It contains over thirty Hangman-type games, designed to reinforce good spelling. Based on the requirements of the main Examination Boards, the games cover these topics:

Differentiation is provided, in that most of the games can be played at either of two levels. The higher level requires the correct case of the definite article. All games required use of the umlaut where appropriate. Students play against the computer, so there is no cheating. On-screen instructions are mainly in the target language.
A teacher's booklet, on the CD-ROM includes instructions for use, vocabulary lists and useful cross-references to page numbers in commonly-used textbooks. The games are designed for use with little support from the teacher, so they will be very suitable if a non-specialist has to take a German class.
The games can be played on any PC running Windows 95 or later. Also required is a Pentium processor (any speed) and Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5 or later, but no internet connection is needed. File sizes are small, so your Network Manager should not complain!
