Developed for pupils of average/lower ability in early years of foreign language learning (11-14), this new resource will be invaluable for the practice, revision and reinforcement of a major area of grammar which many pupils can struggle to master. The resource also addresses the need to teach such areas of the curriculum as a means to improve accuracy in the skill areas of Speaking and Writing. The 13 worksheets of differing lengths cover gender, number and agreement in the following contexts: colours, nationalities, personal description, character description, animals, classroom equipment, family and friends, first names, food and drink, places, buildings and shops, size and shape and landscape. They are grouped according to type of adjective or article e.g. colours, possessive, nationality, demonstrative, partitive.

Some worksheets are pattern forming whilst others are practice or test exercises. Each sheet endeavours to emphasise only one learning target at a time and most are of such a length that they can be completed as one of several activities within a lesson or as a homework exercise. The exercises build progressively so that pupils' can be challenged with the whole range of gender and number. The vocabulary used in each series of worksheets will be, or will soon become, familiar to young language learners which will enable them to concentrate on each grammar point and this is listed as a guide to teachers. Also included are 5 tables of 'agreements' used, which can be given to pupils as revision aids.
