This new resource comprises a series of photocopiable worksheets designed by a practising teacher for use in the Modern Languages classroom. They are intended to be used in conjunction with and as an addition to any existing Course Book. Each worksheet is topic based and designed to meet Year 7 or 8 to GCSE pupils in Year 11. Each has a suggested Level of Attainment and solutions are included. Topics covered by the worksheets include House and Home, Food and Drink, Free Time Pursuits, the Weather, the Calendar, School, Appearance and Character, Illness, Accident and Emergency, Keeping Fit, Holidays, Accommodation and Travel, Clothing, Towns, the Environment, Countries, Shopping and Animals. Each topic will have a resource at two different levels and in different format. This pack of worksheets is intended as an extra classroom resource to be used as an extension and consolidation of a topic and for the all important differentiation purposes, depending on the level of the pupil. Something can be found for the most able student and equally for those who find Modern Language difficult. This package could also be ideal as work to be set in a teachers absence. As solutions are included, pupils could even be left, as is often the case, with a non-specialist.
