The German Speaking Test Practice is intended as preparation for GCSE candidates. The resource contains two sections. The first section covers questions candidates may face during the conversation part of the speaking test. Each question has space for the pupils to write their own answers. This section covers all topics at GCSE level and the questions are supplied with model answers for less able pupils to adapt and without answers for more able pupils to write there own or it could be used for revision purposes. The second section provides the candidates with phrases and vocabulary useful to the role playing of the exam and covers all topics from going to the doctors to the lost and found office to travelling by train. There is a variety of match up exercises and each topic finishes with an extension sheet where the pupils have to put their nearly leant phrases into practice.

The resource can be used for introducing new vocabulary and phrases, for reinforcement or for revision purposes. Each pupil can build up a file, from which they can revise for the GCSE German Speaking Test.
