This material is designed to help students (11-14 & 14-16) to formulate their own full sentences in three main tenses, together with opinions and justifications, in a very quick and easy-to-use way. It acts as a kick-start for beginners, as well as an invaluable revision aid for intermediate learners. Prior to each Tense Framework comes a concise explanation of the mechanics of forming each tense, that the student can refer back to, whilst the Frameworks themselves provide a wealth of vocabulary and permutations to allow students to formulate their own examples.

Included in each Framework are the main verbs used at this level, together with all the common subject pronouns. At the end of each Framework is an equally easy-to-use assessment guide, where students write down their own examples together with translations. The booklet also includes Tense Reference Sheets – especially useful prior to examinations or assessments, where students amass their own preferred parts of the sentence, then, by sequencing each of the parts in a given order, they can practise a multitude of impressive sounding sentences with opinions and justifications. It also saves on teachers’ preparation time, freeing them up, instead, to supervise from the very outset!
