Stuck for ideas for assembly? Looking for ways to interest the perpetually bored? The God Slots Series provides a collection of tried-and-tested assemblies covering a wide range of topics. In each there is usually a little humour and something to grab the attention. While there is often a basically Christian message, many of the assemblies also include a time for 'reflection' so that those of other faiths, or of no faith at all, can feel included.

God Slots That Work 2 is a follow-up collection, giving ten further assemblies plus 12 original songs and raps that can be sung to well known tunes by popular artists. The assemblies cover general themes such as faith and giving as well as providing additional material for Christmas and Easter. The songs and raps will provide an opportunity for your music department to become involved and are provided as photocopiable wordsheets.

To get the most out of these resources, each person using any of these 'God Slots' should read through them before attempting to use them and adapt them to suit their own style of delivery and the needs of their audience.
