According to the Curriculum, Christianity must feature within Religious Education as one of the six largest religions in the world. However, there is little in the way of non-Christian or Bible based resources available to teachers. This pack was written with the intention of filling that gap and supporting atheist or agnostic pupils in their beliefs in order that they do not feel that Christianity is once again being forced upon them by contemporary society.

• What Jesus did
• What we know about Jesus
• Advent
• What Jesus said
• Christmas

Includes contemporaneous views of Jesus that were written by people who did not support him, as well as discussing the sexist and racist climate of the time. Jewish and Muslim views of Jesus are also recognised, and the pagan elements of Advent and Christmas are discussed. The pupil is encouraged to develop their own opinions and support them with reason. Includes information sheets, differentiated question sheets which are intended for pupils in Years 7 and 8 and homework tasks.
