Busy teachers do not often have time to devote to poster production in order to decorate their classrooms. This set of one hundred Information and Technology keyword posters for ICT teaching rooms provides visual stimulus to learning essential vocabulary and definitions. The posters are designed to contribute to the literacy impact of the environment and to provide reinforcement to other methods of delivering ICT theory. From A to D converter to icon, information to modem, multimedia to WYSIWYG, the most common, useful and important keywords are each shown in large sized text with their definition. They can also be used as flash cards to introduce teaching topics, technical vocabulary and to support developing language skills for ages 8 to 16. The complete pack consists of one hundred black and white high quality A4 photocopy masters with a single keyword and concise definition on each. The posters can be copied on to coloured paper and laminated or mounted on card for wall display. The documentation accompanying the posters has a list of all the keywords and definitions on six pages for easy reference for teachers and for making up into revision booklets for pupils. The specially designed Sassoon font is used throughout to support and link into handwriting development for younger pupils and to maintain clarity.
