A seven week course designed to familiarise students with common grammatical terms that they will come across in foreign language learning with examples in French, Spanish, German and Italian.

The course is written in accordance with National Curriculum requirements. It is based on the communicative approach to language teaching and the emphasis is on the fun aspects of language learning with activities, games and visuals for use in whole class work, pair work, and group work.

Key features:

• Designed around 3 lessons of 40+ minutes per week for 7 weeks.
• Each lesson follows the same format but can be adapted according to length of lesson, students' ability and resources available.
• Each unit has suggested exercises which can be selected and incorporated into each lesson depending on the time available.
• Exercises, tests and materials are provided for photocopying as are worksheets and overhead transparencies.
• Homework ideas have been provided for each lesson as well as other suggested class activities for differentiation purposes.
• Optional tests with extension questions for higher ability pupils.
