Literacy Games Pack 3 - Same and Different Card Games

A resource pack for creating card games, flash cards and keyword posters using synonym families and pairs of opposites to encourage learning, recall, spelling and usage. There are thirty sets of synonym family cards such as love, like, adore and admire and one hundred and eighteen pairs of opposites such as in and out, back and front, hot and cold, in twelve sets. These can be used separately to learn vocabulary, spelling, usage and association or mixed to test understanding. The complete resource consists of thirty-seven black and white A4 masters. Full instructions are included for making up packs of cards and for playing a number of games with the cards. Sassoon font is used throughout to support and link to handwriting development for younger pupils and to maintain clarity.
