Literacy Games Pack 4 - Sounds and Plurals Card Games

A resource pack for creating card games, flash cards and keyword posters using homophones and singular and plural pairs to encourage learning, recall, spelling and usage. There are 165 pairs of homophones cards such as ate and eight, as well as a number of extra cards to match with paw, poor, pore and pour and others. There are 82 plural pairs covering all types of plurals. These can be used separately to learn vocabulary, spelling, usage and association or mixed to test understanding. The complete resource consists of fifty-five black and white A4 masters. Full instructions are included for making up packs of cards and for playing a number of games with the cards. Sassoon font is used throughout to support and link to handwriting development for younger pupils and to maintain clarity.
