With such variety of text books and programmes tutors are often faced with the problem of not being able to use a single textbook for their specific programme, either because the textbook doesn't cover most of the outcomes from the programme or doesn't cover them in depth. This resource will give tutors extra materials covering the topic, Personal Information. Different students' groups have different learning approaches and this resource should provide tutors with a variety of materials to cater for them rather than waste time researching. It is also important when starting to learn a language that the students are given homework that will reinforce the learning without looking like homework.

This booklet comprises three types of exercises all of them based on personal information at beginners level. The first part consists of 13 pages of exercises that can be used as part of the class or homework, they include reading comprehension, pastimes, fill in the gaps and more. The second part consists of 4 pairwork activities, which include role-plays and logic exercises. The third part has 3 group activities to be used with the whole class. All the pages use different styles to avoid the repetition of the same type of exercise thus giving tutors ideas to generate their own materials based on these exercises. This resource will improve the students writing and speaking skills whilst having fun. The booklet comes with a full set of answers to aid the tutor.
