Card games are popular with all ages. Maths Words Cards can be used in many different games for children of all ages and even for adult learners to help develop numeracy, matching, spelling, recognition and sequencing skills, as well as sentence construction and oral communication. The set of 30 photocopiable masters contain cards covering text and digital representation for numbers up to twenty; ordinal numbers up to 31; months, days of the week, compass directions, shapes - including graphic cards; functions; metric measurements; time; fractions with graphic cards and target cards for arithmetic games. The 289 cards are a convenient size for all children to hold and can be used to make up packs of cards to suit almost any mathematical activity. The instructions give examples on how to make up eleven different packs of cards for various activities and how to play a selection of generic games.
