Nazi Germany: Formative Assessment Learning Framework

OFSTED want to see more evidence of effective teaching and learning in schools. There are many ways to achieve this, but the following Framework provides the means of developing teaching and learning, improving the standards of teaching and learning within your school, and achieving success in the eyes of OFSTED via good practice. The Formative Assessment Learning Framework provides revision strategies, peer and self-assessment and a comprehensive means of differentiation, for popular modules covered in the study of Nazi Germany at Key Stage 4 for Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Teachers will have the opportunity to implement revision strategies, differentiation, peer, and self-assessment elements across 5 modules, enriching standards of teaching and learning at Key Stage 4. Modules covered are 'Kaiser Wilhelm II and WWI', 'The Weimar Republic: Recovery and Despair,' 'The Rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party,' 'Hitler's Germany,' and 'War and Collapse.' All modules are constructed to provide students the opportunity for completing revision exercises, and peer, and self-assessment exercises at three differentiated levels of learning. Expectations tables are provided to guide teachers through every module, effectively providing a detailed scheme of objectives. Detailed guidance discusses how the Framework can be implemented to maximise teaching and learning. The expectations tables also provide teachers with the opportunity to implement new lines of investigation if they wish.
