This MS Excel book has been written for teachers and students working towards gaining the OCR Entry Level Certificate in Information and Communications Technology (3912). It contains a complete scheme of work comprising of a series of worksheets together with any spreadsheets and databases that are needed to complete the tasks needed to gain the award.

The resource contains an Excel spreadsheet and 42 worksheets can be completed independently by students with little or no teacher assistance and have been structured in such a way as to ensure that all students who complete the tasks required will gain a Level 3 mark for the award.

The scheme for mainstream students of any year group who wish to concentrate on work-related learning. It can also be followed by SEN students with Mild Learning Difficulties.

Teachers are easily able to monitor students’ progress through the worksheets by simply checking what step they are in the task. Differentiation has also been built into this scheme as it allows the teacher to set different levels of the same task without having to do any extra work.

The book also contains series of suggested homework and revision tasks that will help reinforce learning and extend the knowledge gained.

The book also comes with a submission sheet that automatically calculates the level of award each student has gained.
