The quotes are illustrated with relevant, moving pictures to aid the visual learners. For audio learners you can click on for accompanying sound effects! Each slide also contains 2-3 bullet points-open questions to encourage thoughtful reflection.

1. These power points will train your pupils to start thinking philosophically as soon as they enter your classroom. As you take the register they could be looking at the PowerPoint and jotting down 5 sentences in response to each bullet point. When you wish to draw this starter activity to a close you could choose to ask the students to complete the work for homework if you have installed in on your school learning Platform or you could open up a short discussion.
