These module booklets provide students with capability in a wide range of ICT skills. Designed to offer skills progression the modules cover basic skills through to extension tasks. Aims are clearly identified, and each module differentiated. Very clear coverage and linkage to the achievement of the levels within the National Curriculum is provided in the teacher's pages and these can also be used to provide rapid and effective feedback to pupils.

The modules start off with basic skills of a particular tool such as spreadsheets, and then each worksheet incorporates a range of skills to learn as new tasks are completed. By the end of the module the extension tasks only include brief instructions of how to complete the task, enabling students to draw on skills previously learned, therefore recognising prior learning. All worksheets state the aim of the exercise at the top, therefore allowing the teacher to use this as the initial discussion for the main focus of the lesson. Each module has been differentiated to allow for various ability levels of students in ICT groups.

All printouts required for each module are outlined, together with the levels/descriptors relating to each task sheet. Three full tables list the level descriptors to aid easy assessment
