These worksheets are intended for use with pupils aged 11-14 to develop mathematical skills and support pupils in developing a growing confidence in mathematical concepts. A Teacher's Guide section is provided and there is a collection of 31 copiable worksheets for pupils, with the target National Curriculum levels shown and useful advice and guidance for teachers included in the teacher's guide, with ideas for extension work also included.

Exercises are based on decision making, construction and calculation-based tasks, and the opportunity to create a variety of objects. Assessment exercises are provided for some of the activities and an indication of the appropriate National Curriculum levels for these tasks is given.

Some of the materials are designed to use with LOGO, and others offer the opportunity for pupils to develop their own ideas, and each of these allow the pupil to develop at their own pace, and meet the needs of the National Curriculum and school schemes of work.
