Springboard Starters is a pack of 30 stimuli sheets for drama. Each is a short 'starter script' giving the opening lines for a devised piece of work. They have proved ideal for classroom, youth theatre and drama clubs with young people aged between 10 and 16 years. Each 'script' has a series of questions or tasks explaining what the next moves should be and how the participants can develop their own work from 'the page to the 'stage'.

Covering a broad spectrum of topics from Frankenstein to schooldays, and wax museums to camping trips, Springboard Starters brings fun to drama classes whether taught by a specialist or 'baby sat' by a substitute. These resources aim to involve the class or group in a meaningful drama experience in as short a time as possible. The scripts are not dependent on costly sets, props or costumes. A few tables, chairs and willing imaginations are all that is needed.
