A set of excellent photocopiable resources for students and teachers, linked to a video in which STIs are sensitively portrayed.

This video and resource pack on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) was produced by a local Health Authority for use in secondary schools and is now being made available to schools throughout the rest of Britain.

Its aims are:

• to raise awareness of STIs
• to assist in educating young people about health risks caused by STIs
• to make young people aware of local and national support agencies

The pack is suitable for young people aged 13 and over and can also be used outside schools in supporting other forms of youth work.

• The video
• Six suggested activities
• Photocoplable resource sheets
• Briefing materials
• Useful addresses and sources of information

The video covers the dilemmas and fears faced by young people when they discover they may have an STI, how they react and what happens when they go for treatment.
