Othello
This work focuses on the theme of jealousy. Before they are introduced to the play, pupils are encouraged to respond to some of the key speeches, using a range of responses to make their own statements on the issue. Guidance notes then show how this initial investment by pupils can be used as the play is studied.
Material from outside the play is presented to follow this theme up at any chosen time in the study of the play.
