Wordsearches are an ideal way of introducing new vocabulary or reinforcing existing knowledge of words. They can also be used as extension tasks, homework, fillers etc. This collection contains well over 1000 words that are in use in the workshop, dealing with wood, metals and plastics, textiles and food technology. The puzzles range from short words like wok to slightly longer words like polymethylmethacrylate, (the longer words are probably easier to find), and every puzzle has a title to give you can idea of what it contains. Tools, techniques, processes, system, materials, manufacturing, well-known names and a blank grid to create your own wordsearch are all included. The words to be found are clearly shown at the top of each page, with the puzzle itself immediately underneath. Each page stands alone and can be easily photocopied. As standalone tasks a puzzle can be completed at one sitting or used to fill gaps over a period of time. They can also be used to introduce new vocabulary. There are 45 wordsearches here - have fun.
