This book has been written with class, drama and supply teachers in mind for students aged eight to adulthood.

Each page is the script of a mini drama of approximately twenty lines involving three people. The script ends with a cliff-hanger, which the students are left to resolve. They can work individually or in small groups to decide what happens next. Hence the title!

There are one hundred scripts altogether which are divided into nine categories including House and Home, Christmas and Animal Antics.

The scripts cover a variety of topics, from moral issues such as crime and punishment to fantasy situations where humour is included. For example, what happens when a lion is thought to have escaped from its cage at the zoo? Will a young boy submit to the school bully's demands? How do classmates tell a pupil they are tired of his misbehaving in class? Will a bird win its battle with a worm or will it be eaten by a cat? All the scripts can be readily adapted and incorporated into various areas of the curriculum especially language, drama and humanities. The purpose of the book is to encourage students to find socially acceptable and creative ways to resolve problems. Their findings could culminate in discussion or debate, in written form or dramatisation. Some scripts could be used as icebreakers for new students at the start of a school year.
