This new and revised resource has been written to help teachers and students make use of the preliminary material provided for Unit 2 of the AQA Spanish AS examination. Students are required to read eight pre-release texts related to three topics chosen by the Board - Mass Media- Pollution, Conservation and Environment - Spain and Europe - and in the examination they are asked to write two essays. The questions in this resource imitate those in Unit 1, with some additional ones to help reinforce vocabulary. There are also vocabulary lists to provide students with words they may not know but which they should find easy to revise. Also supplied is a stream of 'soundbite' phrases in Spanish to assist students with ideas and expressions on each of the three topics, which can be used as homework practise and as a basis for the test. A comprehensive teacher's section with model answers is also provided.
