The Financial Times Education Pack

The FT Education Pack was produced to draw attention to the FT as a valuable educational resource in schools. Fifteen sample extracts from recent editions of the FT together with suggested tasks had been written by teachers to demonstrate how the paper mighted be used in schools. The articles and accompanying exercises include data response questions, essays, resources suggestions, discussions and group work tasks. The Financial Times commissioned John Hickey to help write this resource targeted their market at students aged 16-18 who were studying Economics Business Stuides and General Studies. As a result of the success of the FT Education Pack a similar resource called the FT Education Programme was developed to take in a broader curriculum range.
